These accusations are all too familiar. Typically, in a marriage you have one spouse who is the spendthrift; very generous and extravagant; while the other spouse is thrifty; careful and diligent in the use of resources. Obviously there will be conflict. The goal is not to determine whose right, but rather what’s right for the particular family dynamics.
