of Today's Parenting |
Parenting in today’s society has taken a so call back
seat in our children’s lives in important topics from education all
the way to sensitive and secret issue such as sex and relationships. It
is a proven fact that 95% of the information that a child receives about
life come from outside of the home. Through this type of action, the family
is being left up to "chance" or worst it is being given to what
is known today as the “Streets” or worldly manner.
We as parents can not become nonchalant about raising the gifts that was
giving to us, it is God's plan and desire that each child be born into His
plan for a specific Godly ordained purpose. When this does not happen, it
does not exclude the fact of God's love and care for the child. We must
see that as parents we are a representation of the order for the kingdom.
Let's Look at the structure or set up of the two:
1. God the father, Jesus is Lord = the father of the household,
as well as lord of the home this shows that the man has a two part role
to the child and in the household.
2. The bible says that the Holy Spirit is a gift from God unto his children=
Ps 127 states that a child is a gift from God as well, also that they are
like a arrow in the hands of a strong man and that he may direct them in
the way that they should go. The Holy Spirit will lead and direct us into
all truth. The Holy Spirit is a helper = the mother is the (helpmeet) of
the home.
